This was the point were food was prepared and distributed.
Our three: Jack & Ginger Gamble and Jack Harris joined this team.
People came by for the food. The food was also distributed to the homes of those who were recovering from the disaster. The ERVs were used for the food distribution beyond the church.
Canned food is opened, heated and served. Not fancy but nurshing.
Food must reach a certain temperature before it can be served. The steam kettles are used to insure that.
The feeding unit is positioned and ready to respond as soon as the storm clears the area. It carries enough food for one day. Following that, the Red Cross provides the food to the unit for cooking and distribution.
