Our Children's Ministries

 

        At Northwest Baptist Church there is something for everyone. We offer many different programs because we

want to teach Jesus' love in as many ways as possible.

        Some of the programs we offer include:

Bible Drill is a program which teaches children grades 3 through 6 all of the books of the Bible,

25 verses and 10 key passages, all in a fun way!

 

        Sunday School is a fun way for kids

from 1st to 6th grade to learn all about the Bible

and its stories and having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

 

MUSIC

       Children's Worship (K-4th grade) is an interactive time for kids to worship in a safe and friendly environment.

A high-energy team leads each session which includes Bible lessons, puppets, music, and other activities.

 

        Children’s Choir (1st-6th grades) is an exciting and fun place to be!

Along with singing there are crafts, games, Bible Study, and other activities.

Each year the choir should perform one full-length musical and sing regularly in church.

 

                       

On Wednesday nights, 1st-6th graders join in a fun time of learning and fellowship.

Both programs are geared towards teaching children about missions and missionaries.

 

        *Annual Events - Every year Northwest Baptist holds a Vacation Bible School, a week-long program that offers a fun, exciting week of Bible study, games, music, crafts, recreation, missions, time to fellowship with friends and enjoy refreshments. Northwest also holds a Music Camp, which is a dynamic adventure where you get to worship God and make new friends. Activities include music skills, basic piano and instrumental skills, sign language and drama. Every fall, Northwest puts on the appropriately titled Fall Festival, which provides a safe, and fun alternative to Trick-Or-Treating.

And that's not all! The Northwest Children's Ministry is constantly coming up with new ways of reaching out to kids. There are many one-day excursions and trips that the children go on. Northwest is committed to children and wants to help grow and equip them mentally and spiritually.
