Children are very important at Northwest. Jesus taught us that we all need to have a child-like faith to follow Him. Jesus showed us how important children were to Him by spending time with them. So that is our goal in “Children’s Ministry” to bring kids to Jesus and spend time with Him.

We have an exciting Sunday School from our Preschool up through 5th grade in our children's department. Our goal is to help the Bible come alive for kids of all ages and to help them grow and mature in the way God would have them grow.

On Wednesday night, we have a wonderful line up of Bible Study and Missions for our kids. Faithweaver Friends is a fun place for kids to come and connect to each other and to God and His truth.

Missions is a very important part of a child's development at Northwest. We believe that it is important, even at a young age, for children to start looking at the needs of others and to see how they can help meet those needs.

Every Summer the church is transformed into some exciting location and everyone is invited to take a journey with us through God's word. Vacation Bible School is a wonderful, memorable experience.

One Week Every Summer

We also have several annual events for kids. Every year we have the Fall Festival and the Easter Egg Mega-hunt. These are great community wide events. Throughout the year, we also have church events like bowling nights, skating, kite day, Thursday-Night-Thing (Summers), and much more.
